She BLOOMS (Black Leaders Offering Opportunities for Mentorship & Sisterhood) is a sacred space for Black women in education at all levels to connect, grow, and thrive! She BLOOMS, inspired by transformative research, focuses on how Black women educators combat burnout through mentorship, empowerment, and sisterhood in a post-Brown v Board educational system where the lack of access to opportunities, unfair treatment, racism, and sexism has to be navigated. She BLOOMS is rooted in the African principle of self-determination where we define ourselves, name ourselves, create ourselves, and speak for ourselves as Black women.
